Mouth sprays and mouthwashes
Thai mouth sprays and mouthwashes
14 products in three groups: mouthwashes for daily home care, pocket sprays for fresh breath, and antiseptic sprays for mouth and throat. Thai formulas are built on propolis, mint, chamomile, echinacea, clove, star anise and zinc lactate. Brands: Propoliz (T.Man Pharmaceutical), Dentiste, Kodomo by Lion Thailand, Biofresh, Nodogle, OTOP Thailand and Listerine. Sizes from a 3 ml pocket spray to a 360 ml family bottle.
What is here
Mouthwashes. Propoliz Dente 150 ml — concentrated Brazilian green propolis with natural mint, sugar-free; most often bought for braces and after a dental visit. C-20 Antiseptic 360 ml — a large bottle for the whole family. Listerine Cool Mint 250 ml — the familiar classic on four essential oils. Kodomo kids' mouthwash 250 ml in orange and strawberry — with active fluoride, no sugar and no alcohol, recommended by Thai dentists from age 6.
Fresh-breath sprays. Propoliz X 15 ml and Dentiste Extra Fresh 3 ml fit a bag or a car door pocket — for after meals and coffee. Dentiste Zinc Pyridinium 10 ml, the size of a lipstick, works differently: cetylpyridinium chloride and zinc lactate bind sulphur compounds while 14 plant extracts — mint, eucalyptus, sage, clove, chamomile — refresh and soothe. It removes the cause of the odour instead of masking it; one bottle gives about 100 sprays.
Antiseptic sprays for mouth and throat. Propoliz Plus with Chinese ginger 15 ml, also sold as a set of three. Nodogle 15 ml with star anise and bergamot oil is popular in Japan. Biofresh with chamomile and echinacea is sugar-free, with essential oils. Propoliz Kid 10 ml with propolis and honey suits children from one year, alcohol-free, with a mild sweet taste; a three-bottle pack is available.
How to choose
For daily care at home take a mouthwash: it rinses the whole mouth and lasts for months. For freshness during the day take a spray: it fits a pocket and works in one press. For sensitive gums, braces or after dental work people usually pick alcohol-free propolis or chamomile formulas. For children choose by age only: Propoliz Kid from 1 year, Kodomo from 6 years. If you need freshness to last, read the ingredients — zinc and cetylpyridinium hold longer than menthol.
Good to know
These are hygiene products, not a substitute for a dentist: persistent bleeding gums, pain or a lasting bad breath need a professional — the cause is often tartar, old fillings or digestion, and no spray will fix that. A mouthwash adds to brushing and flossing, it does not replace them. Alcohol formulas dry the mucosa; with a dry mouth choose alcohol-free. Do not swallow. Mouthwashes are not given to children under three.
Questions and answers
How is a spray different from a mouthwash?
A mouthwash rinses the whole mouth and is used at home after brushing. A spray refreshes on the spot at any moment and travels with you.
Are there alcohol-free options?
Yes — Kodomo and Propoliz Kid are free of alcohol and sugar. The full ingredient list is on each product page.
What helps with bad breath?
Of what we carry, Dentiste with zinc lactate and cetylpyridinium lasts the longest. If the odour returns every day, look for the cause at a dentist rather than changing sprays.
From what age for children?
Propoliz Kid spray from 1 year, Kodomo mouthwash from 6 years — these are the manufacturers' recommendations printed on the pack.
How is the order shipped?
From our warehouse in Thailand with a tracking number. Bottles are packed so the liquid cannot leak; sprays and mouthwashes travel well.
