Thai drops and sprays: throat, mosquitoes, eyes, skin
A spray is for when you need something quick and precise: propolis on a sore throat, citronella on bare arms before a walk, a moisturising drop in a dry eye after screen time. About 50 Thai sprays and drops: Propoliz and Kamillosan throat sprays, Soffell and Abhai Herb mosquito repellents, Rohto and Natear eye drops, Abhai Herb herbal sprays for skin and muscles, Peppermint aroma drops for face masks.
How to choose
Sore throat — Propoliz Mouth Spray, 2–3 sprays up to four times a day, sugar-free; for children — Kamillosan with chamomile. Travelling to Thailand or the countryside — Soffell (DEET) on clothes and bare skin for 6–8 hours; for children and sensitive skin — Abhai Herb citronella, reapplied every 2–3 hours. Dry eyes — preservative-free Natear can be used often; menthol Rohto refreshes, up to 4–6 times a day.
Good to know
Throat sprays relieve a symptom: fever above 38.5 °C for more than 3 days or pus on the tonsils need a doctor. Propolis and honey — not with bee-product allergy. DEET repellents — not for children under 2 or on the face; citronella from age 1, away from the eyes. Do not use eye drops beyond the period stated after opening (usually one month).
Questions and answers
Soffell or citronella?
Soffell (13 % DEET) lasts longer — for adults in the jungle and at dusk; citronella is gentler, for children and the city, but needs more frequent reapplication.
How are liquids shipped?
From our warehouse in Thailand with a tracking number; bottles are packed separately, and these are pump sprays, not aerosols, so they are accepted for shipping.
