Payment and International Shipping Terms

Decosthai.com is an international online store operated by Decos Company Limited, Thailand. All orders are shipped from Thailand to the destination country selected by the buyer.

By placing an order on this website, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Payment and International Shipping Terms.

1. International Nature of the Order

All products sold on Decosthai.com are shipped internationally from Thailand by postal or logistics carriers. International delivery may involve export procedures, transit through third countries, customs inspection and import clearance in the destination country.

Delivery times are estimated only and may vary due to postal operations, customs procedures, security checks, transportation delays, public holidays, weather conditions, government restrictions or other circumstances outside the seller’s control.

2. Buyer as Importer of Record

The buyer and/or recipient acts as the importer of record in the destination country.

The buyer is solely responsible for verifying whether the ordered products may be legally imported into the destination country before placing an order.

This includes, but is not limited to, checking local import laws, customs restrictions, product limitations, licensing requirements, prescription requirements, certification requirements, quantity limits, tax rules and any other applicable regulations.

Decos Company Limited and Decosthai.com are not the importer of the goods in the destination country and do not act as a customs representative of the buyer.

3. Customs Regulations and Import Restrictions

Import rules vary by country. Some products may be freely sold in Thailand but may be restricted, limited, subject to special requirements or not allowed for import in another country.

Decosthai.com does not guarantee that any product can be successfully imported into a particular country.

The buyer accepts full responsibility for ensuring that the ordered products comply with the laws and regulations of the destination country.

Customs authorities may inspect shipments, request additional information or documents, delay clearance, assess duties or taxes, refuse import, return, confiscate or destroy shipments in accordance with local law.

4. Recipient’s Responsibility for Customs Clearance

All customs clearance actions in the destination country are performed in the name and interest of the recipient/importer.

Where required by customs authorities, postal operators, brokers or logistics providers, the recipient may be required to provide identification documents, tax identification numbers, address confirmation, product information or other documents.

Failure or refusal by the recipient to provide required information, documents or cooperation with customs, postal operators, brokers or logistics providers is considered the recipient’s own action or omission.

The recipient is fully responsible for all consequences of such action or omission, including delays, failed delivery, refusal of import, storage costs, customs duties, taxes, penalties, return, destruction or any other loss or expense.

5. Seller’s Fulfilment of Shipping Obligations

The seller’s shipping obligations are considered fulfilled once the order has been handed over to Thailand Post or another postal/logistics carrier and a valid tracking number has been issued.

A valid tracking number and carrier registration record confirm that the order has been dispatched to the buyer.

Customs-related delays, import refusal, seizure, destruction, return or failure of the recipient to complete import procedures are not considered a failure by the seller to provide the service.

6. No Responsibility for Customs Decisions

Decos Company Limited and Decosthai.com are not responsible for decisions, actions or requirements of customs authorities, postal operators, brokers, logistics providers or government agencies in the destination country.

This includes, but is not limited to, customs inspection, delayed clearance, requests for documents, import duties, taxes, fees, refusal of import, seizure, confiscation, return or destruction of shipments.

Customs procedures and import decisions are outside the seller’s control.

7. Duties, Taxes and Additional Charges

The buyer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, postal charges, storage costs or any other charges that may arise in the destination country.

Such charges are not included in the product price or international shipping fee unless expressly stated otherwise on the website.

8. Returns, Refused Shipments and Undeliverable Parcels

International shipping costs, export handling, postal charges and logistics expenses are incurred once the order has been dispatched and are non-refundable.

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to the recipient’s refusal to cooperate with customs, failure to provide required information, refusal to accept the parcel, violation of import rules, incorrect address, absence of the recipient or other recipient-related reasons, the seller is not responsible for refunding shipping, logistics or related costs.

Depending on the destination country, carrier rules and customs decisions, undeliverable international shipments may be stored for a limited period, returned, treated as abandoned, confiscated or destroyed.

The buyer understands that international return of shipments may be impossible, unavailable or economically unreasonable in certain cases.

If a shipment is destroyed, confiscated, abandoned or lost as a result of the recipient’s action or omission, payment for the goods, international shipping and related expenses is not refundable.

10. Order Acceptance

• they accept all customs, import and delivery risks related to the destination country;

• they agree that the seller’s shipping obligation is fulfilled after handover to the carrier and issuance of a valid tracking number;
• they agree that customs-related refusal, delay, confiscation, destruction or failure to complete import procedures does not create grounds for a refund of shipping or related logistics costs.

11. Payment

Payment for orders is made using the payment methods available on the website at the time of checkout.

The order is processed after successful payment confirmation.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate billing, contact and delivery information. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays, failed delivery or additional costs.

12. Final Agreement

By completing the checkout process, the buyer confirms full and unconditional acceptance of these Payment and International Shipping Terms.
